The DP-M400 Explained...The DP-M400 is an A4 floor-standing mono printer designed to do the jobs that would take too long on a photocopier and cost too much on a digital printer. The DP-U950 is the flagship of all digital duplicators, designed to meet the most demanding needs of the modern printer. It is unique in having a suction feed, 3,000 sheet feeder and very fast response speed, factors that promise high reliability and consistent productivity. Printing begins 19 seconds after imaging starts and continues at 150 pages a minute until the job is complete. But it is the feeder, with air knife separation, that sets the DP-U950 apart. Add in excellent registration, a spot colour option and it is clear that the DP-U950 can take longer run work from an expensive to run copier and the shorter run work from an expensive to set up litho press.

The DP-U950 sits neatly between low volume copying and the offset litho press with a sweet spot from 40-5,000 prints. There is no plate to produce as imaging the master direct from the computer takes place inside the digital duplicator, offering true on demand print capability. The quality of output covers sharp text reproduction to smooth halftones and a multiple exposure function to make full use of the printed sheet. Like an offset press, the cost per printed sheet falls as the print run increases.
The large capacity tray holding 3,000 A3 sheets, means that once running the DP-U950 can run unattended for long periods. Its offset delivery function makes it easier for pick up and separate different jobs ready for collating or other finishing processes. The suction feed and air separation of sheets delivers trouble-free printing on a wide range of materials, including windowed envelopes. Electronic control over the master drum gives excellent image alignment.
